- Eyad Ramlawi, owner of 4-storey property located in Tofah area that was bombed and demolished during the last war in 2014. He says, “we used to live together, 4 families in one building, but currently, this has changed, our life completely changed.” Eyad’s three brothers are scattered, living in different locations in the Gaza Strip. They used to gather daily at their family home for dinner but now they only meet when time allows. The rubble from their house was removed through a UNDP project and the family is glad as this will lead to the reconstruction of their home. “We were so happy when we were informed that rubble will be removed. The work went very well and quicker than expected. We actually prepared our home designs and municipality permits so that we will be ready when it is time for reconstruction”. Wednesday AT 04:21 AM
