Construction of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building

Brief Description


The Construction of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building project is in line with Palestinian Strategic Plans which focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the government and strengthening public institutions through the reform of the public sector legislative framework, physical, organizational and institutional development and civil service management.

The project aims at constructing and finishing a ten-storey building for the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in Ramallah for a total space of 9,000m², housing approximately 400 MoFA staff, with a total grant of USD 11 Million from the People’s Republic of China.

Accomplishments and Progress

  • Design Phase: Completed and approved by donor and MoFA
  • Skeleton Works successfully completed and approved by donor and MoFA
  • Finishing and Electromechanical works are currently underway in the mobilization stage
