  • Construction of 100 Housing Units in Gaza

    he project will contribute to reducing the suffering of over 700 of Palestinians who are now without homes as their houses have been totally destroyed. The project aims to provide alternate housing to 100 families in the north of the Gaza Strip in addition to a school, a mosque and physical infrastructure (roads, water, waste water networks and electricity networks).

  • UXO clearance and rubble removal in Gaza

    The overall goal of the project is to bring immediate relief, recovery, and support to the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip through the restoration of essential services and livelihoods. In addition, it will safeguard public health and environment and create emergency employment opportunities.

  • UXO clearance and solid waste services improvement

    The project aims at reducing threats to public health through clearance and safe disposal of UXOs, and management of municipal solid waste including construction debris in environmentally sound manner.

  • Access coordination

    The Access Coordination and Monitoring Project was established in December 2010 to facilitate and account for the entry of materials used for UNDP projects in Gaza, in support of the recovery and reconstruction process. The Access project has managed to inject new life into 44 construction projects that were frozen in the Gaza Strip due to lack of materials. The value of these projects is over USD 22 million.

  • Construction of 300 Housing Units in Gaza

    The project will contribute to reducing the suffering of about 300 families who are now without homes as their housing units have been totally destroyed.

  • Facilitating Access to Infrastructure Resilience (FAIR)

    The FAIR programme is a multi-donor platform which aims to empower and strengthen national institutions to plan and deliver essential public and social Infrastructure in Area C and East Jerusalem through providing increased access to sustainable, equitable and affordable infrastructure.

  • Right to Education in Gaza

    The Right to Education programme aims to reconstruct and rehabilitate educational facilities that were damaged and destroyed during the 2014 hostilities on Gaza, increase the capacity for mental health care in Gaza and restore the hope of youth for increased prospects of employment through e-work.
