This review of Palestinian justice and security sector data represents the first attempt to collect and analyse available data across seven key justice and security institutions: the Ministry of Justice; the Palestinian Civil Police; the Attorney-General’s Office/Public Prosecution; the High Judicial Council; the shari’a courts; the military courts; and the Palestinian Bar Association. The report is the culmination of a process coordinated by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) with UNDP support over the span of 18 months.
